Just a reminder for those intending to join me on the COG walk at Narrabundah Hill on Sunday that it will be the first day of the change back from daylight saving.

However, I’ve deliberately left the starting time at 8:30 am (9:30 am on the day before!) as in my experience honeyeaters early in the migrating season tend to come over rather late in the morning.  So I’m maximising the possibility that we should catch them by the time (around 11:30) the walk finishes.

While the weather on the day looks OK for their migration (the predicted cloud may offset the pretty cool night), as reminder that if it is raining (or it looks like it might) COG Field Trip leaders will always be at meeting points. Where weather is a problem, a decision will be made on the spot about proceeding.
