Our property at Carwoola is not on a major migration route, but we have generally had a few days on which flocks of 20-50 birds pass through. However this year the route they usually follow
traverses some 4 kilometres of burnt country. There are some trees still with foliage and epicormic growth is proceeding apace, but it will be interesting to see what happens when the movement really picks up.
