You must all have noticed the havoc being wreaked on suburban trees, particularly exotics, by White Cockatoos.  This year  it has gone way beyond the shredding of the favoured Chinese Pistacio but is directed to a range of trees too long to list.  The attacks seem to be aimed at sap-bearing twigs.  I suppose these targets are now attractive because the normally grassy expanses are too dry to produce the usual flat-weeds
