Good morning all,

A final, somewhat late, reminder that the Australian Bird Study Association’s annual conference is on this Saturday, March 11, at the ANU’s Research School of Biology, Gould Building, 116 Daley Road, Acton. The theme of the conference is “Long-term banding studies for monitoring bushland birds: what we’ve learned and future directions”. Two of the Canberra banding team members will be speaking and some other excellent speakers have been lined up. There is a registration fee of $60 ($45 for students) which covers morning and afternoon tea and a light lunch. For catering purposes it would be appreciated if the fee could be paid asap – to help with catering purposes but it will also be taken on Saturday morning. Registration commences at 0830 and the meeting will start at 0900 and continue until 1630. If anyone wants more information please contact me.

Cheers,

Mark
