Probably some sort of wolf spider (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolf_spider)- these guys do not make webs and live in burrows and hunt running about.  At night they are can be spotlighted easily as they have good eye shine.

At Jerrabomberra Wetlands today an Intermediate Egret feeding in the grass in front of Cygnus Hide ate at least 5 large spiders - not a common food source for this species. A composite of crops from video frames attached. Although I realise the pictures do not show much detail, any suggestions of the spider species would be appreciated.
