Grateful thanks to the chatliner who posted precise directions as to how to locate the bird, on the strip of land along the fenceline in the water & near the taller of 2 green shrubs; it took me straight there for excellent viewing y’day; v rich birding, incl the 2 sorts of grey herons & both sorts of the small grebes, incl lots of grebelets & 2 sorts of `dotterels’ etc etc
