Thanks Wayne, it’s about a month earlier than I would expect RWB migration but who knows with the way the weather has been though autumn seems still a long way off!
 
On Sunday’s COG boat trip there were at least 15 RWBs seen (and a similar number of Noisy Friarbirds) which seemed to be moving upstream (again E) in Molonglo Reach.  We attributed it to local movement - there was a dy RWB with them.

this morning around 10am a large flock of RWB flew over Narrabundah Hill heading east.  A quick estimate – around 30-35 birds.
 
Signs of an early autumn or normal for this time of the year?
