Hope that it is OK to forward this email about a proposed birding trip to West Papua in August this year, as I am sure it would be of interest to other COG members (my only interest is that I will be going).

Regards

ken

Dear Ken

I invite you to join me and Biologist Geoff Gearheart on a journey to one of the most remote and mysterious birding locations in our region, The Arfak Mountains and Rama Ampat in West Papua. We follow in the footsteps of some of the greatest Naturalists of all time, Alfred Wallace, Luigi D'Albertis and Odoardo Beccari. Please read the attached brochure for details. The tour departs on August 12th, 2017. I hope some of you can join us.

If you live near Brisbane you can hear a talk by Geoff about the tours on Thursday 9th February at 6.30pm at Back Track Adventures, 222A Barry Parade, Fortitude Valley, Qld 4006. Please RSVP to m("backtrack.com.au","info");"> if you plan to attend.

Regards
Barry Davies
