Hi all,

The Australian Bird Study Association is holding its annual conference at the Research School of Biology, Gould Building , 116 Daley Road in the ANU on Saturday March 11 this year, starting at 09:00 until 16:30. The theme of the conference will be “Long-term banding studies for monitoring bushland birds: what we’ve learnt and future directions”. Registration is $60 ($45 for students) and registration will commence at 08:30 on the morning. There is a list of great speakers lined up (and one not so great speaker – ME!). A lunch and morning and afternoon tea will be provided. For more information you can contact me or the ABSA website at www.absa.asn.au or at m("absa.asn","info");"> . The group is also on Facebook or twitter @ABSAbirds . Payment needs to be made before the conference for catering purposes. It is open to all who are interested, not just banders.

See you there,

Mark
