My geography knowledge is modest but are there many lakes in Aus, (let alone within the geographic range of the Musk Duck), that are at a higher altitude than Lake Eucumbene for a MD to choose, even if it wanted to be observed at a higher altitude than Lake Eucumbene?

A glance at the Atlas of Living Oz does not seem to reveal any higher records - David

G'day all,

I was at Lake Eucumbene on the weekend and came across a Musk Duck. The lake is almost 1200 m above sea level and looking at ebird it seems the highest record i can find. The habitat suits them as the lake is full of Yabbies.

Just curious if anyone who doesn't use ebird has recorded them at this altitude or higher?
