Hi All,

I was lucky enough to have Sue Lashko share her local bushland area (Aranda) with me this morning. It was my first visit to the area.

Apparently it was a quiet morning, possibly due to the oppressive weather conditions, but there was still plenty of activity to keep me interested!

Highlights were:
  • White-winged Chough juveniles (3) ... very recently fledged
  • Yellow-faced Honeyeater family and their attempts at feeding a large moth to the juvenile
  • Dollarbirds  calling and visible but no sign of the juveniles
  • Grey Butcherbird nest with three large chicks.
A few photos from the walk can be seen on Flickr for anyone interested ....

Thanks Sue!

Cheers
Julie
