A delightful  early walk up the hill with lots of different calls to decipher.

There were a  range of immature birds including:  2  Scarlet Robin (4 SR in total), 1  Yellow Robin (very curious), 1 Brown Gosshawk quietly calling while hassled by Grey Fantail, 1 Fantailed Cuckoo (seemed to be following me), 1 Horsfields Bronze Cuckoo chased by fierce Rufous Whistler, and quite a few young Crimson Rosella hanging out together.

Also quite a few noisy Brown Thornbill, Buff-rumped Thornbill squabbling, Common Bronzewing ooming, male and female Leaden Flycatcher calling, Yellow-rumped Thornbill everywhere.

Looked for but did not find a Chestnut-rumped Heathwren.

Injured rider or walker along the Uriarra Road bike trail. Probably attended by 3 Search and Rescue vehicles and 1 Police motorcyclist which were on way.  Good to know we are looked after in the bush.
