One snipe on the small McKellar pond and one on the large McKellar pond mid
morning this morning. Water levels in both ponds have dropped quite a bit
creating good edge habitat. The bird on the small pond flushed from reasonably
thick tall Paspalum about 1 metre from the water and the bird on the large pond
flushed from some planted Lomandra about 3 metres from the water's edge. The
complete species lists for both sites will eventually make it on to eBird.
