I found two dead nestlings in the Eucalypt Forest at Tidbinbilla last Saturday.  They may have been dislodged from the nest during the storm the night before as they were fresh - covered in ants but no maggots.  They were quite large perhaps 12 -15 cm long.  Any idea what they might be? They were within a metre of each other, under a large tree. I could not see a nest in the tree or on the ground nearby.
