Hi All,
The six grebe chicks at Mulligan's continue to do well. We were entertained today as the parent fed a rather large tadpole/frog to one of the chicks, with the others then chasing to share in the meal!
Also spotted 3 Bush Stone-curlews from a distance. One was 'C9', but we didn't get a look at the legs of the others and photo opportunities were limited ... initially too far away and then quite suddenly too close ... couldn't really focus or move without scaring
the birds!
The Pink-eared Ducklings eluded us, but were there as seen by others ... all 8 still there.
Superb parrots with juveniles are regularly in the eucalypts near the main gate.
Cheers
Julie
