This is the first year in six that I have been in Oxley that 2 male Koels have
decided to make their home around our complex. A neighbour said that in the
past they have stayed but then moved on. I have finally found out just how
noisy they are, especially in the mornings. Won’t miss them when they move on.
Also spotted the first house sparrow in my back garden.
