Hi All,
In addition to the beautiful Pink-eared Ducklings at the big dam (as reported by Shorty), there is a second brood of Australasian Grebe chicks (five young ones) on the first dam inside the main gate. One was a bit camera shy (hiding under the parent's wing
or hopping on the back with a sibling), but the tip of the bill can be seen in the first shot and all five appear in the second shot.
The three chicks from the earlier brood are still there and doing well.
Cheers
Julie
