Each year Steph and I enjoy watching our seven or so Froggie families go through their breeding cycle on Mt Ainslie west. We try to stay in contact with the fledged families as long as possible and today one of those families was sharing its roost tree with a gang of Gang gangs.  A rather lovely opportunity to see these two engaging species together, as per pic.  The male Gang gang does appear intrigued by the feathered pieces of wood nearby.

Also for those of you interested in my Rosenberg’s Goanna project and the recent ABC News coverage, the story has now gone as far as Indonesia!, as per link: http://www.australiaplus.com/indonesian/berita/biawak-langka-berhasil-direkam-keberadaannya-di-canberra/8000658

Cheers
