Surveys at the three sites carried out in warm, sunny conditions. The grass is very long and weedy. Several regulars were missing - no Fan-tailed Cuckoos, no White-throated Treecreepers, no finches.
The White-winged Chough youngsters are well-grown, but a rather muddy adult was nest-building next to the dam. Noticeably fewer Superb Fairy-Wrens around, and jsut a few Brown and Yellow-rumped Thornbills. The ever-reliable Speckled Warblers were singing rather than making alarm calls.
26 species in total seen/heard.
