Not surprising that: “the best I can do is a little eagle” as it clearly is that. It is looking very ragged, looks very overdue for new feathers. Very good photos though.

Hi All,

I saw this raptor at Tathra, several times in the very late afternoon, flying over houses and over the beach. The light was poor on each occasion. The photos are 'throw away', but I'd really like to know what the bird is.

I have tried to Id it .... the best I can do is a little eagle.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

Julie
