Sorry. This amuses me. All to see the noses on the faces........
Reminds me of the Rolf Harris song: The Court of King Caractacus

I suspect that by now the last line applies.

Interesting – as far as I know I am ‘ordinary’ when it comes to Google Maps. I do have a Google account but I did not expect it would result in a different map. I was also intrigued
by the extra trail shown on my version of the map when I produced it.

Something peculiar here. The cuckoo spot is very near control 6 in last week’s orienteering but I was baffled by the pale track on Steve’s map and sure enough it’s not on the
Google map used by ordinary people

It was off the Federal Hwy access near the red arrow on the attached map.

Hi Steve
Whereabouts on Mt Majura, it is not a hill I've walked on much?
I went up the track to the summit, entering from Southern end and thought I heard one near the powerlines but when I got there no more calls
Any suggestions
Thanks

I was lucky enough to get close enough to a Brush Cuckoo on Mount Majura today to notice its nostrils – circular (as is characteristic of the genus) and protruding from the beak
as a short tube. See
