Hi Julie,

Yes, it is a Crescent Honeyeater , and certainly a young bird but not a juvenile. The bird has a yellow gape and the eye colour does not look right for an adult. It is possibly a female.

Regards,

Mark

Hi Everyone,

I managed these photos of a honeyeater at Tathra on the weekend and I'm hoping it's a Crescent Honeyeater ... juvenile? I have seen a few before but never managed photos worth saving.

Confirmation or otherwise would be appreciated.

Cheers

Julie
