Indeed! I’ve so far recorded 18 species of damselfly and dragonfly at JWNR.
Michael Maconochie and Jane Roberts and I did discuss the possibility of funding and producing a poster on wetland dragonflies earlier this year, but I’m not sure at what point that stalled. Should revisit.

Moreover, I would think the Woodlands and Wetlands Trust might take an interest in Harvey’s dragonflies. I have noticed quite a few of those at Jerrabomberra Wetlands. They are a mandatory inclusion in wetlands
posters and educational material and the like. Of course one would need to take care not to include a species occurring exclusively at montane bogs in in publicity for JWNR.
Hi Harvey,
I am more than happy to include ad hoc records. It just adds to the data to give a picture of certain sites even if we leave it out of the monthly survey data analysis.. Particularly areas like Honeysuckle which surveyors
tend to go to less often.
Thanks a lot,
Cheers Lori

Hi
I know it doesn’t fit with the survey format of the Latham’s Snipe Survey, but are you interested in ad hoc records?
I not infrequently flush snipe from various montane bogs when looking for dragonflies. I did so last Saturday. I’ve logged the record through eBird, but the details for the snipe are:
Sat 12 Nov 2016, 12:50 h – single snipe flushed, Honeysuckle bogs -35.57905, 148.98359

Hi,
Just a reminder that the November Snipe survey will be on this coming weekend.
If possible, please resurvey the sites you have surveyed previously even though no Snipe have been recorded. Also, if you survey a site and do not record any Snipe still submit a record.
