The two resident ravens can be worth watching as they waddle around a few metres from the observer, eyeing marginal food items, dismantling bread scraps, and inspecting and tossing around food containers, sometimes appropriating them for more prolonged attention .  This morning the old male became quite animated as he got down on hands and knees and burrowed under a rock, coming out with a large moth.  He extracted and ate 3 of these before the other one joined in and they both worked under a few other rocks as if having discovered a new food source.  Only a couple more mothfuls came to hand though.
