Hello Mark,

ANBG is great for Gang-gangs and if you want them really upclose then it’s worth swinging by the ANU bird feeder at 8:30 am, as they visit it before heading back to the Gardens. They will be within a meter or so and some will even come to your hand. Not quite a “wild” experience, but good for photos.

The feeder is close to Daley Road, on the side of a building that I think is called the Burton & Garran Hall - if you are close you should be able to locate them by calls anyway.

Hope this helps,
Gabi

Does anyone have any reliable sites for Gang-gang Cockatoos and (what seem to be elusive this year) Superb Parrots? I am taking a Western Australian birder out on Friday and she would like to see both these species.

TIA.
Mark
