This is to let workshop participants know that the venue has been
changed to the Ranger's Office at Jerrabomberra Wetlands. The Office is
on your left, but about 200 metres short of the carpark which was to be
the original starting location.
Could participants please ensure they have their camera gear and robust
footwear and clothing and hats appropriate for the field shoot. In
particular, note that I have had a report of a Brown Snake (in another
location) and that the Kelly's population may be about to become active
as well.
The workshop will consist of three elements. The first will be a short
talk featuring general tips on improving bird photography. The second
will be practical tips aimed at improving images by improving management
of depth of field. This session will include some practice using your
gear. The third element will be a field shoot at the Wetlands.
The starting time will still be 7.30 am.
Note: The number of people wishing to participate in the Workshop was
significantly higher than the available spots so, if this one works
positively for the participants, there may be a repeat of the Workshop
in 2017.
regards
Con
