Delightful Canberra Nature Map orchid survey/bike ride today at Bruce Ridge.

 

Other than the orchids, the highlight was a sacred kingfisher.

 

And olive backed orioles carrying on, and grey currawongs, and crimson rosellas in and out of really low body height hollows, striated pardalotes nb and rufous whistlers! And regulars – bf cuckoo shrikes, white throated treecreepers etc. So nice.

 

But lots of trees have fallen.
