Ryu put me onto the Apostlebird this morning. Then he put me onto 6 Coot
chicks being fed by two adults. For which thanks are due.
And while I was photographing the Cootlets, a Buff-banded Rail
interrupted me. Somewhere in the veg it had one or possibly two chicks
peeping away.
So, some nice opportunities, and let's hope the images survive the
transition to the screen.
I don't like to complain, but the effin dogs are something else!
I saw half a dozen of Mark's Jethros.
Totally out of control seems to be the order of the day.
I saw one incident in which only a desperate save by a Mum saved a
toddler from being damaged.
The owners called etc but the dogs appeared to regard any and all orders
as commands to continue doing whatever it was that was taking their
fancy at the time.
regards
Con
