Thanks for the post

I stopped in there this afternoon (1430h) at the Anderson VC rest area, found the Banded Lapwings (scope recommended for viewing, which I had with me) but snipe were not to be seen.  Heaps of Pipits though.  While there a Hobby flew past.  Have not seen that much water in LG since about 2000.

Just back from LG & from the southern end car park saw 12 Banded Lapwings & numerous Latham Snipe. I counted 30 but would have liked to have a had a scope to be sure of the count & id. The lake has the most water I've seen in it for years
