A delightful walk up the hill and around to the left hand track. The track is running water in places but plenty of birds and flowers to hear and see. Small groups of purple Orchids and a very small patch of small creamy white Orchids. White Heath in full flower and other interesting wattle.

Most interesting birds included 1 male Scarlet Robin in suitable nesting habitat, 1 Yellow Robin, 3 Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoo, 2 Brown Gosshawk circling high in blue sky and 1 seated watching me, 1 Wedge-tailed Eagle, 2 White-throated Treecreeper, 1 Fan-tailed Cuckoo heard calling, Yellow-faced Honeyeater flying over, 1 Spotted Pardalote heard, Grey Fantail and Thornbills.
