Campbell Park was quite quiet this afternoon and very soggy.  However, I filmed this male Golden Whistler displaying to a nearby female see:

As you will see and hear it sings a very different call to the one we normally associate with this bird - a first for me, when his 'object of desire' is nearby.  I have edited the soundtrack to remove some low frequency background sounds so that you can better hear this call.

Its 'usual' performance can be seen and heard at
