I believe that's the North Weston Pond. There was a wednesday walk which took in that pond and the Edgeworth Pond a few months ago. There's an un-named pond on Terry Connolly Ave between those 2. I've walked around all of them in last few months. Did you see white-fronted chats - I got one at North Weston pond only a couple of weeks ago, and there is often a lot around the Edgeworth Pond. All of them seem to have some snipe habitat, but water levels are high

Imbued with a modicum of enthusiasm for the weekend' s tasks I even checked out that large newish impoundment nearly opposite the Cotter/Streeton Drive junction this morning which remained snipe less with only one black fronted dotterell.
Perhaps I should enquire if this wetland does have a name.

I parked my vehicle near the RSPCA animal shelter and also investigated an interesting area around Clos Crossing ( closed ) before walking along a track adjacent to the Molonglo River as far as the bridge carrying Tuggeranong Parkway traffic.

Although reasonably quiet today, I do consider this location could be very productive for a COG outing, being very central, with varied vegetation and easy walking terrain.

A friendly jogger also informed that nearby Misery Hill Lookout is also well worth a visit
