A neighbour who is familiar with Channel-billed Cuckoos thought she saw one this morning. This is a good bit earlier in the year than they have been reported in Carwoola in the past and
she now has some doubts. I note that
Thus it seems a possibility that the bird was as she thought. Folk might like to keep their eyes and (for this species more than many) ears open for the species.
