Apart from 8 black ducklings and 5 young swans there was a general shortage of
water birds made up with a variety of incoming honeyeaters.
Close to the absent white cheeked site there were about 8 plus white naped ,
which were identified by successful photos , which was no small feat due to
their continual movement , high in the outer branches with a basic camera.
Also of interest two pairs of golden whistlers and a flock of welcoming
goldfinches on sewerage side boundary fence on arrival.
