Two weeks ago as I sat in my car in the carport, I saw one Spotted Pardalote entering the carport roof under the gutter, I suspect to get in the corrugations. That could be a IH record but I am not sure if that was the purpose. Haven’t seen it again there, maybe because I don’t have a lot of time to sit in my car in the carport. A bit odd I thought as I have a very suitable old grass heap to nest in.

Seen it visiting a few times over the last couple of weeks (could be multiple birds) and finally got a photo of it gathering fibres from a hemp rope in my yard that has previously been worked over by magpies and red wattlebirds:
