2/9/16 Right on cue yesterday, feeding persistently in the steady rain on a flowering gum on the verge of Eucumbene Drive Duffy, chased persistently by Red Wattlebirds, were about 25 YFHE and WNHE. Although chased constantly they were not
to be dissuaded by the Red Wattlebirds. Small flocks would lift up and return to the tree, or find respite in a nearby tree.
3/9/16 Today still feeding in the same tree about 30 WNHE and a small number of YFHE. I watched one flock of WNHE fly from the tree and across Duffy, and another flock of WNHE flew into Narrabundah Hill.
