Not everyone loves Blackbirds as much as I do. That said, there were nineteen feeding together in a loose flock on our lawn at Crookwell on Saturday 20 Aug 2016. I usually think of Blackbirds as being fairly solitary - such a bid gathering was a first for me. Just another five and there would be enough for a pie.
