Flame Robins, like Scarlet  Robins, tend to arrive in Canberra from higher, more thickly timbered areas in Autumn. They are observed most frequently in winter, confirmed by your sighting today. They have been obvious on Percival Hill and near Ginninderra Creek for a few months now. Both were recorded on last week’s COG Percival Hill walk.  Cheers

A pair of flame robin were observed this afternoon at the hill top in the southern section of Little Black Mountain near the route derived from the electrical substation.
