Lake Ginninderra peninsula and western shore surveyed in drizzle this morning. Unsurprisingly no snipe seen or flushed. Water levels high. Three White-faced Herons chasing and honking; darters lurking under willows; tree martins back; a flock of 7 YTBC  over; a Crested Shrike-tit calling. b
