It seems this species is particularly adept at doing this. This gets reported fairly often – from kangaroos, koalas, sheep.........

Yesterday we observed one of our two resident White-eared Honeyeaters perched on the backs of two kangaroos, furiously pulling out fur, then flying off. The kangaroos seemed quite unconcerned.
