Absolutely, it is a Peregrine Falcon.  Lots of reasons why it is not a Hobby but save me the typing.

Subject: [canberrabirds] Raptor at Mulligan's

Hi All,

I saw this raptor at Mulligan's this afternoon and think it might be a Peregrine Falcon (a new bird for me hopefully!)

The photos are really poor, but I think there's enough detail for a proper Id.

Confirmation or correction would really be appreciated.

Cheers

Julie
