Yeah, I just would like to say Chinese bulbul or Light-vented bulbul (Pycnonotus chinesis), and white-naped HE may be a slender vision of this bulbul.
They inhabit vast tracts of area throughout central to south China, where do you see this bird in China?

Hi my Chinese ex step son is Zesheng.  The Chinese Bulbuls that I saw around China reminded me (in colour if not manner) of the Melithreptus honeyeaters.

I headed for there exclusively to take some white-plumed HE's photography as it is brilliantly sunny that day. However, capturing fuscous HE was just unexpected until I found some subtle differences and I was given an extraordinary bonus.

I seemed to hear white-naped HE but did not pay for attention as I was busy photoing these two Lichenostomus. I have not got any idea of where to have a close-up watch to white-naped HE around Lake Ginnindera.

As I will leave Australia within a couple of months, I would like to collect these lovely birds' sighting as much as I can. Their shape and behaviour remind me of playful and welcomed bulbul in Asia.

Cheers

Ive seen White-plumed Honeyeaters there for 20 years or so but never Fuscous Honeyeaters. Ive rarely seen the latter in Canberra.
