Despite having 7 previous failed attempts to cover their operating costs by building over the land they have been given for a golf course, the FGC is trying to advance a further proposal.
The Garran and Hughes Residents Action Group is on the case as usual: the letter to the President of FGC linked in this post is worth a read.
