The White-cheeked Honeyeater was showing well early at Jerrabomberra Wetlands this afternoon in the gloom and drizzle, active and vocal with a small group of its cousins (New Holland Honeyeaters) in the flowering eucalypts just south of the cycle bridge. Fuscous Honeyeaters were there too, as well as singles of Yellow-faced Honeyeater and White-naped Honeyeater, the latter looking particularly unappreciative of the weather.
