This news item is of limited interest for our purposes, relating as it does to a project of the Nowra TAFE to look for aboriginal artefacts on TSRs. The ‘long
history’ apparently refers, rather obscurely, to the use of what are now TSRs by aboriginal persons.
However we should certainly watch carefully what is happening in local TSRs. I was prompted by this item to look at something called
Perhaps some of you made representations in connection with that exercise. I was pleased to note that bird watching is (still?) to be regarded as a recognised
passive use
and that grazing permittees are not to exclude birdwatchers
It is good to know David and other NSW residents are keeping an eagle eye on what those ‘Local Land Services’ are up to TSR-wise.
