Ryu, thanks for the posting. A slight correction is that COG obtains records direct from eBird, not via BLA. In that way we get a download when we want rather
than once a year.

An interesting
article describing the growth of ebird in Australia has just been published on their website.
It was interesting to learn that not only is the entered data passed onto BLA and from there to COG, all ebird records are also included in the Atlas of Living Australia (ALA).
