Oh so we see this old story trotted out yet again, as though it is something new, without mentioning that the bird in the Attenborough video is a captive bird at Healesville sanctuary thus exposed to less natural sounds and more unnatural sounds than normal for a young lyrebird and without mentioning that wild birds don’t mimic chainsaws. I used to say not at all, maybe being so sure is not quite fair.
