Yesterday's ANPS outing traversed the Northern Brindabellas on Doctors Flat Rd. During our plant forays that most obvious birds were migrating Yellow-faced and White-naped Honeyeaters.
It was hard to guess numbers but my gut feeling is that there was a slkight majority of the former. A good sighting was an immature Wedge-tailed Eagle being harassed by 3 Dusky Woodswallows.
A nearby resident has reported hearing a Powerful Owl in the vicinity of the Eastern edge of Cuumbeun National Park.
