True, but you also get them at places such as Yerrongabilly caves up the the mountains, hardly rainforest. However I agree with Philip that a Barn Owl is more likely. Also now is the time of year when mouse numbers are likely to be at their
highest in the general environment and barn owls are likely to 'wander' in response.
