On my way home from an ANPS visit to the top of the Cord Trail (Large-billed Scrubwren a highlight) I paused briefly at the dam on Trucking Yard Lane.  27 Plumed Whistling Ducks were evident together with Pacific Black Duck and Grey Teal.  Large (~200 birds) flocks of Galahs and Sulphur-crested Cockatoos and a huge (~500 birds) flock of Common Starlings were grazing on the meadow between the dam and the hay racks.
